REFRIED BEANS 
2 slices bacon (opt.) (may use bacon fat)

Fry bacon until crisp. Add small onion, chopped; cook until clear. Add one can (1 lb.) pinto beans. Bring to boil. Mash beans. Turn fire low. Add 1/2 cup grated cheddar cheese. Stir until melted. Serve with tacos, taco salad or tortillas.
