SALISBURY STEAK 
2 cans beefy mushroom soup
1 egg, slightly beaten
1/4 tsp. salt
1/3 c. water
1 1/2 lbs. ground beef
1/2 c. fine dry bread crumbs
3 slices bacon
Garlic powder to taste

Mix thoroughly 1/3 cup soup, ground beef, bread crumbs, egg, salt, garlic powder. Shape into 6 patties. In skillet, cook bacon, remove and crumble. Pour off fat. Brown patties. Stir in remaining soup and water. Cover and simmer 20 minutes. Stir occasionally. Garnish with crumbled bacon. Serve over rice, noodles or mashed potatoes. Serves 6.
