AUNT JESSIE'S RELISH 
12 green peppers
12 red peppers
12 yellow peppers
6 onions
1 lg. head or 2 sm. head cabbage
1/2 c. salt
3 pt. sugar
1 tbsp. celery seed
1 pt. vinegar

Grind first 5 ingredients each separately. Mix together with salt and let set 1/2 hour. Squeeze out liquid. Mix last 3 ingredients until sugar is dissolved. Do not cook. Add ground vegetables. Put in crock, large jars or small jars. Cover and store in refrigerator. Will keep a year.
