OREO COOKIE DESSERT 
1 (24 oz.) pkg. Oreo cookies, crushed
1 c. melted butter
8 oz. cream cheese, softened
16 oz. whipped topping
1 c. confectioners' sugar, sifted
2 sm. pkgs. chocolate instant pudding mix
3 c. cold milk

Reserve 1/2 cup cookie crumbs. Mix remaining crumbs with butter in bowl. Press over bottom of dish. Chill until firm. Combine cream cheese. Half the whipped topping and confectioners' sugar in mixer bowl. Mix until smooth. Spread in prepared dish. Combine pudding mix and milk in mixer bowl; beat until thick and smooth. Spread over cream cheese layer. Top with remaining whipped topping and reserved crumbs. Store in refrigerator. This recipe must be made ahead.
