TOASTED PUMPKIN SEEDS 
Remove seeds from squash and wipe off - DO NOT WASH SEEDS. Coat each cup of seeds with 1 1/2 tablespoons oil or melted butter or shortening. Spread on cookie sheet sprinkle with salt. Bake in 350 degree oven for 20 to 30 minutes until golden brown. When seeds are done, they usually begin to "pop".
