MAPLE WALNUT PIE 
1 c. pure maple or maple-flavored syrup
4 beaten eggs
1/2 c. sugar
1/3 c. butter, melted
1 1/3 c. broken walnuts
1 unbaked 9-inch pastry shell

In a medium-size mixing bowl, combine syrup, eggs, sugar, butter and dash of salt. Mix until smooth; add walnuts. Pour into pastry shell. Cover edge of pie with foil, to prevent over browning. Bake in 350 degree oven for 15 minutes. Remove foil; bake 25 minutes more or until filling is set.
