PEANUT BUTTER HONEYBEES | |
1/2 c. creamy peanut butter 2 tbsp. butter, softened 1/2 c. confectioners sugar 3/4 c. graham cracker crumbs (about 12 sq.) 1 (1 oz.) sq. semi-sweet chocolate 1/3 c. sliced almonds In a mixing bowl, cream peanut butter, butter and sugar until smooth. Add crumbs; mix well. Shape teaspoonfuls of dough into 1 1/4-inch oval. Place on a waxed paper lined baking sheet. Place chocolate in a small microwave bowl. Microwave on High for 1 minute or until melted. Transfer melted chocolate to a resealable plastic bag. Cut a small hole in corner of bag. Pipe three strips on each bee. Insert two almonds into each bee for wings. Use a toothpick to poke holes for eyes. Store in refrigerator. Yield: 4 dozen. |
