1 1/2 c. sugar
3 eggs, beaten lightly
2 tbsp. butter
5 tbsp. water
2 lemons (juice and rind)

Combine all ingredients in a heavy pan. Cook on low-medium heat, stirring constantly. When mixture reaches a bubbling boil, remove from stove and stir for a minute.
