APPLE CRISP 
4 c. pared baking apples
2/3 to 3/4 c. packed brown sugar
1/2 c. all purpose flour
1/2 c. regular oats
3/4 tsp. ground cinnamon
3/4 tsp. ground nutmeg
1/3 c. butter, softened

Heat oven to 375 degrees. Grease square pan (8 x 8 x 2 inch). Arrange apples in pan. Mix remaining ingredients with fork. Sprinkle over apples. Bake until apples are tender and topping is golden brown, about 30 minutes.
