OVEN 5 HOUR STEW 
2 1/2 lb. stew meat
1 pkg. carrots
6 potatoes
2-3 stalks celery
1 green pepper
1 onion
1 (2 1/2 oz.) can tomatoes
2/3 to 1 c. water
1 tsp. salt
1 tsp. pepper
1 tbsp. sugar
3 tbsp. tapioca
1/2 tsp. sweet basil

Peel carrots and potatoes. Cut up celery and green pepper. Dice onion. Mix all together. Put in 350 degree oven, covered. Cook 4-5 hours.
