SOUR CREAM COFFEE CAKE 
2 c. sugar
1 c. butter
2 eggs
1/2 pt. sour cream
1 tsp. vanilla
2 c. flour (sifted)
1/4 tsp. salt
1 tsp. baking powder
4 tbsp. brown sugar
1 tsp. cinnamon
1 c. chopped pecans

Cream sugar, butter and eggs till smooth. Very carefully add sour cream and vanilla. Slowly add sifted flour, salt and baking powder.

Grease and flour a tube pan. Fill with 1/2 the batter then 1/2 the topping; repeat.

Bake at 325°F for 1 hour.

TOPPING: Mix together the brown sugar cinnamon and pecans.
