FUDGEY BROWNIE 
3/4 c. Hershey's cocoa
1/2 tsp. baking soda
2/3 c. vegetable oil, divided
exactly 1/2 c. boiling water
2 c. sugar
2 eggs
1 1/3 c. unsifted all-purpose flour
1 tsp. vanilla
1/4 tsp. salt

Stir cocoa and baking soda together in mixing bowl. Blend in half the vegetable oil. Add boiling water; stir until mixture thickens. Stir in sugar, eggs, remaining vegetable oil; stir until smooth. Add flour, vanilla, and salt; blend completely. Pour into lightly greased 9 X 13-inch baking pan, or two 8-inch square pans.

Bake at 350°F for 35-40 minutes for 9 X 13-inch pan, or 30-32 minutes for square pans. Cool; frost, if desired.
