CLASSIC LASAGNE 
1 lb. ground beef
1/2 c. chopped onion
1 (6 oz.) tomato paste
1 1/2 c. water
1 clove garlic, minced
2 tsp. salt
3/4 tsp. oregano leaves
1/4 tsp. pepper
8 oz. lasagne noodles, cooked & drained
1 lb. cottage or ricotta cheese
2 (6 oz.) pkg. mozzarella slices
1/2 c. grated Parmesan

Brown meat; drain. Add onion, cook until tender. Stir in tomato paste, water, garlic and seasonings. Simmer, covered 30 minutes. Layer half of noodles, meat sauce, cottage cheese and mozzarella cheese in baking dish. Repeat layers. Top with Parmesan cheese. Bake at 375 degrees for 30 minutes. Let stand 10 minutes.
