2 c. sugar
2 c. flour
1/2 c. buttermilk
2 eggs
6 tbsp. cocoa
1 tsp. vanilla
1 stick butter
1/2 c. vegetable oil
1 c. water

ICING:

1 stick butter
4 tbsp. cocoa
6 tbsp. milk
1 lb. powdered sugar
1 tsp. vanilla
1 c. chopped nuts

In bowl, mix sugar, flour, buttermilk, eggs, cocoa and vanilla. Bring to a boil, butter, oil and water and pour over other ingredients in bowl. Mix well with mixer. Bake 35 minutes at 350 degrees.

Icing: Heat butter, cocoa, milk. Keep it stirred. After heated, add powdered sugar, vanilla and nuts. Pour over cake while cake and icing are both hot.
