MISSOURI COOKIES 
2 c. sugar
3 tbsp. cocoa
1/2 c. (1 stick) butter
1/2 c. milk
1 tsp. vanilla
1/2 c. peanut butter (smooth or chunky)
3 c. oatmeal

Bring to a boil sugar, cocoa, butter, and milk. Boil hard for 1 minute. Remove from heat and immediately add vanilla, peanut butter and oatmeal. Drop by teaspoonful onto waxed papered cookie sheets (have this ready before cooking mixture). Refrigerate until set, about 3-4 hours.
