THAI MEAT SALAD | |
4 servings 12 oz. cooked steak or turkey 8 c. mixed salad greens 1/4 cucumber, cut in matchsticks 1 1/2 c. thinly sliced sweet onion 2 tbsp. soy sauce 2 tbsp. lemon or lime juice 2 tbsp. rice vinegar 3/4 tsp. fresh minced hot chili 1/2 tbsp. minced garlic 2 tbsp. peanut oil 1 tbsp. grated or minced fresh ginger 2 tbsp. olive oil 1 tsp. black sesame seeds 12 fresh cilantro sprigs Roast meat. Combine soy, juice, vinegar, chili, garlic, oils and ginger. Thinly slice meat into bite size pieces. Dress with 1/2 salad dressing. Dress greens with remaining dressing. Arrange greens on plates and divide meat among plates. Garnish with black sesame seeds and cilantro. Available in oriental markets. |
