NO - CHOLESTEROL POPOVERS | |
6 egg whites 1 c. skim milk 2 tbsp. butter, melted 1 c. bread flour or all-purpose flour 1/4 tsp. salt Vegetable cooking spray Beat egg whites at high speed of an electric mixer until foamy. Add milk and butter; beat at medium speed until well blended. Gradually add flour and salt, beating until mixture is smooth. Pour batter into muffin pans coated with cooking spray, filling 3/4 full. Bake at 375 degrees for 45 minutes. Cut a small slit in the top of each popover, and bake an additional 5 minutes. Serve immediately. Makes 1 dozen. |
