1 c. white sugar
1 c. brown sugar
1 c. butter or lard
2 eggs
1 tsp. baking soda dissolved in 3 tsp. lukewarm water
4 scant c. flour
1 c. nuts

Mix flour and salt with other ingredients. Mix all together thoroughly. Makes 4 dozen cookies. Mold in foil paper, keep in refrigerator until ready to bake.
