GOULASH AND NOODLES | |
2 lb. round steak, cubed 1 #2 can tomato puree 1 can water 1 lg. green pepper, chopped 1 lg. onion, chopped 1/4 tsp. thyme 1 lg. bay leaf 1/4 tsp. oregano 1/4 tsp. sage 1/2 tsp. basil leaf 1/2 tsp. parsley 1/2 tsp. salt & pepper 2 level tbsp. flour 1 lb. wide egg noodles In large saucepan, add 2 tablespoons oil. Add meat and brown until tender, about 1 hour. Add remaining ingredients, except for flour and noodles. Cook for 30-45 minutes. Cook noodles. Mix flour in cup as to make gravy. Add to sauce to chicken and let boil 2 minutes. Pour over cooked noodles. |
