GROUND BEEF STIR-FRY 
2 tbsp. oil
1 1/2 lb. ground beef
1/4 c. soy sauce
1 green pepper, cut up
3 carrots, thinly sliced
2 onions, sliced and cut into 1/2 rings
4 stalks celery, sliced diagonally
Fresh or canned mushrooms
1 tbsp. cornstarch
1/2 c. beef consomme, freeze the rest for later use

Stir fry ground beef in hot oil in fry pan or wok (450 degrees) in electric fry pan). When meat is brown, add soy sauce and vegetables. Cover and cook 5-8 minutes, until tender crisp, stirring occasionally. Dissolve cornstarch in consomme. Add to meat and vegetables to thicken. Season with salt and pepper; serve over cooked rice. Serves 6.
