HARDENING CLAY 
1 c. salt
1/2 c. cornstarch
1/2 c. water

Mix and cook in an double boiler. In two minutes, this will form a glob or mass. Place the mass on wax paper until it is cool enough to handle; then knead for 3 minutes. The material can be wrapped in foil until time for use. It will keep several days, but must be kneaded again before using. It hardens in about an hour after molding.
