CABBAGE PATCH SOUP | |
1 1/2 lbs. ground beef 2 slices bacon, cut up and fried with beef 1 med. onion, cut up 1 can tomato soup 2 cans stewed tomatoes 3 to 4 c. cabbage, finely cut 2 cans kidney beans with juice 3 c. water 1 1/2 tsp. salt 1 to 2 tsp. chili powder (optional) 1 c. celery, cut up 1 c. carrots, cut up Brown beef with bacon. Add onion and celery, saute for 10 minutes. Add sliced carrots and remainder of ingredients, including cabbage. Cook at low temperature until tender. |
