1/2 c. butter
12 pkgs. Sweet and Low
1 egg
1 c. chopped dates or raisins
1 1/2 c. unsweetened applesauce
1 1/2 c. self-rising flour
1 c. nuts, chopped
1/2 tsp. cinnamon
1/4 tsp. cloves
1 1/2 tsp. vanilla

Cream butter and Sweet & Low, add egg. Beat in other ingredients. Bake in greased and floured tube pan for 45 minutes at 350 degrees.
