CALIFORNIA MEAT BALLS 
3 lbs. ground hamburger
5 tbsp. bread crumbs
1 egg
1/2 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. Accent

SAUCE:

1 lg. bottle ketchup
1/2 c. plus 2 tbsp. brown sugar
1 tbsp. nutmeg
4 tbsp. prepared mustard
1/2 tsp. onion salt
1 tsp. barbecue seasoning

SAUCE: Mix in pan where meat was cooked and add meat balls. If too thick, add 1/2 cup of water.

Mix hamburger with bread crumbs, egg, salt and Accent. Make into small balls and cook until brown. Drain. Put in sauce and cook on low heat for several hours. This should be made the day before as it is very time consuming. Meat balls freeze well also.
