1 1/2 c. INSTANT oatmeal
1 stick melted butter

Mix. Add:

3/4 c. sugar
1 tsp. baking powder
1 tsp. flour

Sift together. Add:

1 lightly beaten egg
1 tsp. vanilla
1/2 c. chopped nuts

Mix together. Cover cookie sheet with aluminum foil. Place dough by teaspoons on cookie sheet with foil. Place 2 to 3 inches apart. Cookies spread. Bake on middle shelf at 350 degrees for 10 minutes. Check early - ovens vary.
