POWDERED SUGAR POUND CAKE 
6 eggs
1 (1 lb.) box powdered sugar
3 c. sifted cake flour
3/4 lb. whipped butter (I use 4 1/2 sticks Mrs. Filberts whipped butter)
1 tsp. vanilla and 1/2 tsp. lemon or almond

Start with all ingredients at room temperature. Cream butter and sugar. Add flour and one egg, one at a time, alternately, and beat well with each addition (1/2 cup flour and beat, 1 egg and beat, etc.) Add vanilla and other extract and blend well. Grease and flour a tube pan. Bake at 325 degrees for 1 hour and 25 minutes.
