CORN CAKE 
6 cobs corn
Salt (at consideration)
3 tbsp. sugar
1/2 c. shortening
6 eggs
1 tbsp. cornstarch
3 tsp. baking powder
1/4 c. feta cheese
1/2 c. sugar (garnish)

Grate kernals from corn in a bowl. Also add salt, sugar and melted shortening; mix vigorously. Mix egg whites thoroughly until foamy. Add yolks, cornstarch and baking powder. Blend with the first combination.

Grease a 10 inch square pan, empty half of mixture in pan, place feta cheese (in cylindrical pieces) on top and cover with rest of mixture. Garnish with sugar. Bake at 400 degrees for 45-50 minutes.
