2 1/4 c. powdered sugar
4 tsp. soft butter
1/2 tsp. vanilla
2 tbsp. milk
Food coloring

Mix all ingredients together until smooth. Divide icing into different bowls and add coloring as desired. Paint cookies with pastry brush or clean water color brushes.
