QUICK PRALINE BARS | |
24 graham cracker sqs. 1/2 c. packed brown sugar 1/2 c. butter 1/2 tsp. vanilla 1/2 c. chopped pecans Heat oven to 350 degrees. Arrange graham crackers in single layer in ungreased jelly roll pan (15 1/2 x 10 1/2 inches by 1 inch). Heat brown sugar and butter to boiling; boil and stir 1 minutes. Remove from heat. Stir in vanilla. Pour over crackers; spread evenly. Sprinkle with pecans. Bake until bubbly, 8 to 10 minutes. Cool slightly. Cut into bars (2 1/4 inches by 1 1/4 inches). Makes about 4 dozen bars. |
