STRAWBERRY DESSERT 
1 1/2 sticks butter (3/4 c.)
2 3/4 c. crushed pretzels
3 tbsp. sugar

2ND LAYER:

8 oz. softened cream cheese
1 c. sugar
Cool Whip (8 oz.)

3RD LAYER:

2 sm. pkg. strawberry Jello
1 env. Knox gelatin
1 c. boiling water
2 c. strawberries, chopped

Mix together layer #1 ingredients and pat into 9 x 13 inch pan. Bake 10 minutes at 350 degrees. Cool.

Cream together layer #2 except Cool Whip. Fold in 8 ounce Cool Whip. Spread on cooled crust.

Dissolve layer #3 ingredients except strawberries. Add 1 cup cold water. Stir and add 2 cups fresh strawberries, finely sliced or chopped. Pour over layer #2. Chill until set. Serve with Cool Whip.
