MINESTRONE SOUP 
1 c. celery
1 1/2 c. canned tomatoes
1/2 c. green peppers
8 c. boiling water
4 beef bouillon cubes
1/4 tsp. marjoram
1/2 tsp. pepper
1 c. carrots
1 c. green beans
1/2 c. onions
1/4 c. parsley
1 sm. garlic, minced
1 small bay leaf
2-3 tsp. salt
1/4 c. butter
1 1/2 c. macaroni
Parmesan cheese, served separately

Melt butter in 5 quart saucepan, when hot, add onions, garlic, green pepper, celery and tomatoes. Saute several minutes. Add all other ingredients except macaroni and cheese. Cover pan and simmer gently for 45 minutes. Add macaroni and simmer 30 minutes. Serve with Parmesan cheese on top.
