STRAWBERRY-NUT CAKE | |
1 box Duncan Hines White Cake Mix 1 (3 oz.) box strawberry Jello 1 c. Crisco oil 1/2 c. milk 4 eggs 1 c. frozen strawberries 1 c. coconut 1 c. nuts, chopped Mix all ingredients well and bake in three layer pans 25 to 30 minutes at 325 degrees. Sheet cake pan or tube pan can be used for this. ICING: 1 box powdered sugar 1 stick butter, softened 1/2 c. frozen strawberries 1/2 c. coconut 1/2 c. nuts Mix butter and strawberries together. Add coconut. Add powdered sugar then nuts. Spread on cake when cool. |
