STRAWBERRY ENGLISH TRIFLE 
1 pkg. yellow cake mix
1 (16 oz.) pkg. frozen strawberries
1 can vanilla ready-to-serve pudding (2 c.)
1 c. chilled whipped cream
1/4 c. sugar
1/4 c. sliced almonds
7 whole strawberries

Bake cake per directions using oblong pan. Let cool and cut in squares. In large dessert dish (or compote) pour thawed strawberries over a few pieces of cake; spread with 1/2 of pudding.

Repeat layering with strawberries, pudding, and cake. Garnish with whipped cream and almonds. Chill for 8 hours. Serves 6-8.
