BLUEBERRY BARS 
1 3/4 c. sugar
1 c. butter
4 eggs
1 tsp. vanilla extract
3 c. all-purpose flour
1 1/2 tsp. baking powder
1/2 tsp. salt
1 (21 oz.) can of blueberry pie filling
Ground nutmeg
1 1/4 c. sifted powdered sugar
1 tbsp. butter, melted
2 tbsp. lemon juice

Cream together sugar and butter until light and fluffy. Add eggs and vanilla, beating well. Stir together flour, baking powder, and salt. Spread half of the dough in an ungreased 15 x 10 inch baking pan. Carefully spread blueberry filling over dough. Sprinkle with a little nutmeg. Drop remaining dough from a teaspoon over pie filling. Bake at 350 degrees for 45 minutes. Combine powdered sugar, melted butter, and lemon juice. Blend well and add a little milk if necessary to make a spread. Remove bars from oven, and while warm, spread with lemon frosting. Cut into 48 bars.
