PRUDY'S BEEF BRISKET 
Heavy aluminum foil
3-5 lb. beef brisket
1 pkg. dry Lipton onion soup
1 can Franco-American beef gravy
1 c. Italian salad dressing
Fresh or canned mushrooms to taste

Place meat, fat side up in foil in baking pan. Sprinkle onion soup, beef gravy, salad dressing, and mushrooms on the top. Seal and cook at 325 degrees for 3 to 3 1/2 hours.

Cool and drain gravy in a separate dish. Slice the meat when cool. Skim fat off gravy. Can be served immediately after cooking, or reheated with the gravy later.
