BANANA SPLIT PIE 
2 c. crushed vanilla wafers
2 sticks butter
3 oz. cream cheese
1 can crushed pineapple, drain well
2 eggs
2 c. confectioners sugar
4 bananas
1 lg. (8 oz.) container Cool Whip

Crush wafers and mix with 1 stick melted butter. Press into 13 x 9 inch pan. Beat confectioners sugar, stick butter, cream cheese, and eggs for 15 to 20 minutes. Spread mixture over crust. Spread pineapple over mixture. Cut up 4 bananas over the pineapple. Cover with Cool Whip. Garnish with nuts and cherries. Chill at least 3 hours. Better if made the night before serving.
