BANANA SPLIT ICE BOX PIE 
3 sticks butter, softened
2 c. graham cracker crumbs
2 c. powdered sugar
2 eggs
4-6 bananas
1 (15 1/4 oz.) can crushed pineapple, drained
1 (9 oz.) pkg. Cool Whip
1 (4 oz.) bottle cherries, drained
1/2 c. chopped pecans

Melt 1 stick butter in a saucepan. Combine with cracker crumbs and press into a 13"x9" pan. Beat remaining butter with powdered sugar and eggs for about 7 minutes with a mixer until light and creamy. Pour the mixture over crumbs, spreading evenly. Slice the bananas over this, then top with pineapple and Cool Whip. Dot with cherries (halved) and sprinkle with chopped nuts. Refrigerate overnight to let the flavors mingle.
