TOMATO PUDDING 
4 slices white bread, cubed
1 (10 1/2 oz.) can tomato puree
1 c. light brown sugar
1/2 tsp. salt
1 stick butter
1 tbsp. water

Mix together all ingredients but bread. Boil 5 minutes. Place cubed bread in buttered casserole. Pour tomato mixture over bread. Toss. Bake 20 minutes at 350 degrees.
