END OF GARDEN PICKLES, CANNED 
1 c. green tomatoes
1 c. cucumbers
1 c. sweet peppers
1 c. cabbage
1 c. onions
1 c. carrots
1 c. string beans, cut in 1 inch pieces
1 c. celery
1 c. green lima beans
2 c. vinegar
2 c. sugar
2 tbsp. turmeric
1 tbsp. celery seed

All vegetables are chopped. Soak cucumbers, pepper, cabbage, onions, and tomatoes in salt water overnight - 1/2 cup salt to 2 quarts of water. Cook carrots, green beans, lima beans until tender; drain water. Mix all vegetables and other ingredients; boil 10 minutes.

Put in jars and into hot water bath for 5 minutes after it starts to boil.
