FISHERMANS' FAVORITE CHOWDER 
1/4 lb. bacon, diced
6 c. water
1 can (14 1/2 oz.) evaporated milk
1 env. onion soup mix
2 lbs. boneless fish fillets, cut in 1 inch pieces
1 env. (4 serving size) instant mashed potatoes

Saute bacon until crisp. Add water, milk and onion soup mix, heat to boiling. Add fish, simmer 10 minutes or until fish is done. Stir in instant potato mix. Heat through. Serves 12.
