FINE FISH CHOWDER 
2 bacon slices
2 med. onions
2 c. potatoes, sliced
2 med. carrots, sliced
1 (16 oz.) pkg. frozen fish fillets (haddock is best)
2 c. water
1 env. Good Seasons buttermilk farm style salad dressing mix
2 c. milk

Fry bacon in large saucepan until crisp; drain and crumble. Reserve 1 tablespoon fat. Saute onions, potatoes, and carrots in bacon fat until tender, about 6 minutes. Move vegetables to side of pan; add fish and water. Bring to boil. Reduce heat; cover and simmer 15 minutes or until fish flakes easily with a fork. Break into pieces. Meanwhile, combine salad dressing mix and milk; mix thoroughly. Stir into fish and vegetables. Bring to boil; reduce heat. Cover and simmer 5 minutes. Add bacon. Garnish with parsley.
