POACHED SALMON - MICROWAVE 
4 1/2 inch thick salmon steaks
2 tbsp. melted butter
2 tsp. lemon juice
1/2 tsp. dill weed

In a paper towel lined 12 x 8 x 2 inch glass dish place steaks. Brush with melted butter mixed with lemon juice. Sprinkle with dill weed. Cover dish with waxed paper. Microwave at high 6-7 minutes. When done fish flakes easily with fork. Turn fish over onto serving plate. The paper towel may stick to the steaks. Just peel it off. I don't always put a paper towel in the dish. I don't like all the butter, moisture etc. absorbed by the paper.

Since microwave ovens vary in power, you may need to adjust your cooking time.
