MARINATED ROUND STEAK 
1/3 c. soy sauce
2 tbsp. brown sugar
1/2 tsp. ground ginger
1/2 tsp. dry mustard
1/4 tsp. onion powder
1 1/2 to 2 lb. beef round steak

Combine all ingredients except steak and mix well. Place steak in a shallow pan and pour marinade over the top. Cover and refrigerate 4 to 6 hours, turning steak over frequently. Place on grill over hot coals and cook 6 to 8 minutes on each side or until medium doneness - do not over cook. Makes 4 to 6 servings. Cover and refrigerate any leftover marinade for future use.
