EGG NOG 
6 eggs
3/4 c. granulated sugar
1 c. bourbon
1 c. light rum
1 c. vodka
2 c. milk
1/2 c. sherry
1/2 pt. vanilla ice cream
1/2 pt. whipping cream
2 1/2 tbsp. confectioners' sugar
Nutmeg

Beat eggs until light. Gradually add granulated sugar, then while still beating, add bourbon rum and vodka. Turn mixer to low speed. Add milk. Reserve 1 tablespoon sherry.

Blend remainder of sherry into ice cream, then beat into egg mixture. Whip cream until soft peaks form, gradually beat in sugar. Fold the reserved sherry into whipped cream, fold this into the egg mixture. Sprinkle a pinch of nutmeg on top of each serving. Authoritative without a strong whiskey taste.
