ENGLISH TOFFEE DESSERT 
6 oz. vanilla wafers
1 c. chopped pecans
1 c. powdered sugar
1 stick butter
3 eggs, separated
1 1/2 sq. unsweetened chocolate
1/2 tsp. vanilla

Mix together rolled wafers and chopped nuts. Use 1/2 of mixture to cover bottom of 9x10 pan. Cream butter and sugar. Add well-beaten egg yolks, melted chocolate and vanilla to creamed mixture. Spread remaining half of nut crumb mixture over top. Put in refrigerator overnight. Top with whipped cream.
