MEXICAN CHEFS SALAD 
1 onion
4 tomatoes
1 head lettuce
4 oz. grated Cheddar cheese
8 oz. creamy French dressing
1 med. bag tortilla chips or Doritos
1 avocado (optional)
1 lb. ground beef
1 (15 oz.) can kidney beans
1/4 tsp. salt
Dash Tabasco sauce (optional)

Chop onion, tomatoes and lettuce. Toss with grated cheese and dressing. Crush and add chips. Slice and add avocado. Brown 1 pound ground beef; drain and add drained kidney beans and salt. Simmer 10 minutes and add into salad while hot, serve immediately. Makes 8-10 servings. Variation: Can also use regular French dressing. Can save a few chips out to use as garnish.
