PRALINE CAKE 
1 stick butter
1 c. buttermilk
1 lb. light brown sugar
2 eggs
2 c. flour
1/4 tsp. salt
1 tsp. baking soda
3 tbsp. cocoa
1 tbsp. vanilla

Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Grease 9 x 13 inch pan. Heat buttermilk and butter until butter melts. Add sugar and eggs; beat until smooth. Add sifted dry ingredients and vanilla. Pour batter into greased pan and bake 35 minutes.

PRALINE CAKE TOPPING:

1 c. brown sugar
1 stick butter
1 c. chopped nuts

Mix together and spread over hot praline cake.
