POTATO SOUP 
1 sm. onion, chopped & sauteed in 1 tbsp. butter
1 or 2 carrots, grated
Salt & pepper to taste

Add enough water, cook until carrots are done. Add 4 cups milk and enough cold, grated mashed potatoes or frozen hash brown to consistency you like for soup. Can add parsley if you choose for extra flavor. Can be kept in large jar refrigerated for several days and heat what is needed in microwave.

Since microwave ovens vary in power, you may need to adjust your cooking time.
