SCALLOPED CABBAGE 
2 heads of cabbage, quarter

Remove core and boil for 5 minutes. Butter casserole and slice cabbage FINE and cover bottom of casserole for first layer. Then open 2 cans of cream of chicken soup and mix with 1 cup of milk; pour some of this over first layer of cabbage. Then sprinkle 3 tablespoons of Italian bread crumbs. Then sprinkle tablespoon or more of shredded cheddar cheese.

Make a second layer same as first; then a third layer, but put only crumbs and cheese on third layer which is the top. Be sure to use all the chicken soup and milk. Let marinate 1 hour then bake for 1 hour and 45 minutes at 350 degrees.
