SLOVENSKA TORTA 
12 eggs
12 tbsp. sugar
3/4 lb. ground walnuts
3 tbsp. bread crumbs
1 tsp. vanilla

Beat egg yolks and sugar until light and creamy. Add flavoring, then alternately the walnuts, stiffly beaten egg whites and bread crumbs. Bake in 2 layer pans in a moderate oven.

FROSTING:

3 tbsp. butter
1 egg yolk
1 1/2 c. confectioners' sugar
2 tbsp. cocoa
2 to 3 tbsp. hot water

Cream butter and blend in egg yolk. Sift the sugar and cocoa together and add alternately with water. Beat until creamy. Spread over cake and sprinkle with more ground walnuts over the top.
